Visionaire wins "Middle East Green Award for Sustainability"
Visionaire bagged the 2011 “Middle East Green Award for Sustainability” for its work on the UAE University green Data Center during the annual Data Center Middle East Awards ceremony on November 15,2011 in Dubai. The award was presented as part of the Data Center conference organized by BroadGroup which takes place in the region each year. Its aim was to recognize both data center achievement and innovation across the region as well as company demonstration of exceptional leadership, and innovation in technology used.
The event was officially opened by Dr. Eesa Mohammed Bastaki, CEO, ICT Fund. Dr Bastaki commented on the need for wider adoption of cloud computing services which would generate cost effective opportunities for businesses operating in the UAE.
"We hope that this year’s event has contributed to a wider industry discussion about the role of data centers and the emerging adoption of cloud computing,” commented Warwick Dunkley, vice president of BroadGroup. “Clearly there are developments taking place across the Middle Eastern region which will generate sustained demand for data centers, and the huge opportunity cloud computing presents for small and medium businesses to increase their IT agility and competitive edge”.

Amity, a sophisticated, state-of-the-art technology integrated boardroom built by Visionaire, has bagged the Best Presentation Room award for 2005, by the US-based industry publication Presentations. The award is the only one of its kind in the audio-video (AV) industry that evaluates the architectural aspects of the room with embedded technology design recognizing high tech and high touch. The award is given out in three categories: Best Boardroom, Best Classroom/ Training Facilities and Best Auditorium. Visionaire’s Amity Board Room was chosen for the Grand Prize under the Best Boardroom category.
The Amity Board Room , designed with a perfect blend combining the technical sophistication and exquisite taste. THE FIRST PRIZE by Presentation Magazine was awarded in MAY 2005 for Amity Board Room at The Campus @Visionaire. Built on a 130,000 sq.ft. plot area The Campus @Visionaire is a first in the architecture of this region where a private corporate building has 4 clock faces. The Internet Age Building is dedicated to demonstrate proof of concept for futuristic technologies and is custom designed by the Visionaire Technology Group Inc. Divided into 11 technology spaces, all named with the starting Alphabet “A”, each tech-space has a unique application displayed and demonstrated to actual life.
The “Amity” Board Room is furnished as a most advanced senior management meeting room equipped for distance collaboration where table embedded screen and microphones automatically track the voice direction to move the camera to the speaker. The room works multi-functionally as a distance meeting room and also a dedicated board room for up to 20 people who can access data, voice and video from anywhere in the world and during the meeting all notes are created electronically for archiving and sharing
